MISSION STATEMENT
Policing Not Politics
My relentless passion for ethical policing is what inspired me to run for Harford County Sheriff. I’ve been a resident of Harford County for over 30 years, and like you, am directly invested in what the future of our county looks like, not only for my family, but for yours.
The work I’ve done has always been about my community, about people, and it’s shaped how I’ve shown up for others. I want to show up for our community in an impactful way with leadership that prioritizes safety, connection, and accountability.
As your next Sheriff, I’d be designated to stand beside you, but our deputies would be
standing with me. They are the true backbone of community safety and supporting our deputies is critical to the safety of our community. This includes investing in their wellness, stronger recruitment and retention strategies, and cultivating a more grounded work environment.
I believe trust from the community is strengthened when deputies feel supported, and when those deputies are more visible in our schools and neighborhoods. Effective leadership and policing allows its citizens to communicate their concerns with an office that works collaboratively with all agencies, elected officials, and in accordance with the law, including but not limited to immigration enforcement programs like 287(g).
In hearing some of the community’s concerns, I plan to prioritize addressing current detention center conditions as well as the growing drug epidemic and opioid crisis our county is facing.
At the heart of everything I stand for is transparency and accountability. The Sheriff’s Office should reflect the values of you as the community and I hope to be the best possible representation of this.
